Miami QB Tyler Van Dyke prefers away games: 'We don't have that much of a college atmosphere'

The Miami Hurricanes have to be cringing at quarterback Tyler Van Dyke's recent comments about the football program and the enthusiasm, or lack thereof, shown by the student body in the once-proud program.

In fact, the Hurricanes are likely wishing that Van Dyke never went on Jordan Palmer's TikTok show to give his thoughts on being a quarterback for Miami.

Miami, again, is a once-proud (very proud) program. "The U" dominated college football in the late '80s and '90s. The Hurricanes had swagger and the players to back it up. We're talking about Ken Dorsey, Clinton Portis or Edgerrin James on the offensive side of the ball. Miami's defensive talent was even more impressive. From Michael Irvin to Ed Reed, to Ray Lewis or Warren Sapp.

"The U" was the place to be, which makes it almost sad to hear this commentary from Van Dkye.
