Chiefs DT Chris Jones shows support for Iowa star Caitlin Clark during Women's Final Four Championship
Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Chris Jones has clarified that he is a massive fan of Iowa women's basketball star Caitlin Clark.

And so, throughout the entire women's March Madness tournament, he has been sure to show his support. Especially throughout the Final Four matchups and now the championship game, Jones has been live-tweeting his thoughts.

The two were able to meet for the first time at Arrowhead Stadium this past season, with Clark coming out to show support for the Chiefs. And they of course got a photo together.

Iowa defeated UConn in Friday night's semifinal matchup, earning a spot in the championship game. And now it was just South Carolina that stood in the way.

Jones is just the latest to show his support for Clark, with his team also doing it prior to the start of the Final Four.

"You cheered for us. Now it's our turn! All of Chiefs Kingdom is rooting for you tonight, @CaitlinClark22 ," they wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Despite having grown up in Iowa, Clark's entire family were Chiefs fans so naturally she jumped right in. This past season, she even took in a game at Arrowhead Stadium on Christmas Day, just sitting a few suites down from Taylor Swift. Unfortunately, Clark admitted that the two did not get to meet at the game.

So it's safe to say Jones and the Chiefs are rooting for her on Sunday.

Here are all of Chris Jones' tweets during the championship game:

This story will continue to be updated throughout the game.
