Jarran Reed 'Excited' to Face Cardinals RBs
USA TODAY Sports

The Seattle Seahawks (3-2) are back at home this weekend as they host the Arizona Cardinals (1-5) in an NFC West divisional matchup.

The Seahawks look to rebound from last week's heartbreaking loss against the Cincinnati Bengals, but they aren't overlooking the last-place Cardinals.

“They run the ball well, they do a lot of different personnels in what we’ve seen the last few games," defensive tackle Jarran Reed said. "When we get to Sunday, we’re excited to see what they come out and try to throw at us. We’ve been doing pretty well against the run, and I expect that to continue here on out, especially Sunday. I think they’re going to try to come in and run the ball and we’re going to have to stop them from running.”

The Cardinals placed starting running back James Conner on injured reserve following the team's Week 5 loss to the Bengals, but still managed 130 yards on the ground last week against the Los Angeles Rams. Quarterback Josh Dobbs led the way with 47 yards, while Keaontay Ingram picked up 40 and Damien Williams grabbed 36.

It appears that Arizona will run by committee once again when it plays Seattle.

It's easy to underestimate a bottom-5 NFL team and create a trap, but with Reed's energy, the Seahawks should be ready to go to pick up a win on Sunday.

The Cardinals and Seahawks are scheduled to kick off at 1:05 p.m. at Lumen Field. The game can be watched on FOX.
