Syracuse vs. North Carolina: After taking a big early lead, the Orange had to hold on to defeat the Tar Heels, 10-9. After trailing 3-0, Syracuse scored seven consecutive goals, and 10 of the next 11, to take a 10-4 lead in the middle of the third quarter. UNC then scored the next five to cut the lead to one with 1:48 left. Joey Spallina had six points to lead the Orange, with one goal and five assists. Finn Thomson and Owen Hiltz scored two goals each for Syracuse. Owen Duffy led North Carolina with three goals and two assists.
