Ender Inciarte re-instated from the paternity list

The Braves just announced that Ender Inciarte has been re-instated from the paternity list. In a corresponding move, the team optioned Johan Camargo back to Gwinnett. Jeff Mathis was also outrighted to the Stripers after being designated for assignment yesterday.

The #Braves today reinstated OF Ender Inciarte from the paternity list and optioned INF Johan Camargo to Triple-A Gwinnett. The club also outrighted C Jeff Mathis to the Stripers.

With Pache struggling so mightily and currently on the Injured List, I fully expect the Braves to go with a platoon of Ender Inciarte and Guillermo Heredia in centerfield. Inciarte was actually playing pretty well before hitting the IL with a hamstring injury, and Heredia has been one of the team’s best hitters. It also helps that they hit from opposite side’s of the plate. I’m fairly confident in these two producing moving forward, and they should certainly provide a significant upgrade over Pache.
