Boom! That's a 3-0 day in strikeout props on Thursday, and all at plus money, too. It puts us back in the green at 7-5 on the week, so let's finish off strong with my three favorite K props for Friday's MLB slate.
The Cleveland Guardians have been the toughest team to punch out all season. Cleveland has the lowest strikeout rate in MLB this year (20.7 percent), and it has the fewest strikeouts in the league over the last week. Joey Wentz has flipped back and forth between the starting rotation and the bullpen, but he's gone under 3.5 Ks in three straight starts. It's tough to imagine the Detroit Tigers lefty doing better against the stingiest lineup in MLB.
The Arizona Diamondbacks have no time to let up with just one series remaining in the regular season. Arizona is safe by only two games in the NL wild-card standings with three games left, and they just happen to come against the Houston Astros. The Diamondbacks can't afford to preserve Zac Gallen's arm for Game 1 of their potential wild-card series, so he should be a full-go on Friday night. Gallen has gone over 4.5 Ks in 13 of his 15 home starts this year, so let's trust the ace in his biggest start of the season.
Lance Lynn unders have been crushing in recent weeks, so we're going right back to the well on Friday night. The Los Angeles Dodgers starter has gone under 4.5 Ks in five of his last seven starts, and he's averaged just 3.0 strikeouts per game in that span. The San Francisco Giants have been brutal at the plate to close the season, but this is still good value at plus money.
