Phillies Trade A Former Top Pick To The White Sox

His best year in Philly was his rookie year in 2019, when he hit .266 with five homers and 26 RBIs.

The Phillies are picking up a decent pitching prospect in return for Haseley.

Moore went 2-2 with a 4.20 ERA in 37 games last season.

He was drafted by the White Sox in the 14th round in 2019.

As for Haseley, the Phillies thought they had something special with him, but things just didn’t pan out.

He put together a solid 2019 season, as mentioned previously, but never found his footing with the Phillies.

By the looks of it, the acquisition of Haseley looks to be nothing more than a depth move for the White Sox, who just learned that Andrew Vaughn is dealing with a hip injury.

Haseley figures to be a fourth outfielder option for the White Sox until Vaughn returns from his injury.

We’ll see if Haseley can find his footing with the White Sox and show off that potential the Phillies saw when they drafted him back in 2017.

He won’t be an everyday player, as Chicago already has Luis Robert, Leury Garcia, and Eloy Jimenez manning the outfield spots.
