Majors: 5-4 record, 2.75 ERA, 68 strikeouts, 15 walks, and 33 saves in 55.2 innings
Raisel Iglesias was not perfect, but he was pretty good for the Braves in 2023. He was much better in the second half of the season than he was in the first half, owing to his need to get back into form after starting the season on the injured list with a minor shoulder issue.
After the All-Star break, Iglesias was 2-1 with a 1.84 ERA, 35 strikeouts, and seven walks in 29.1 innings. He looked good in the NLDS as well, as he made three appearances and surrendered zero hits and zero runs as he struck out two hitters and earned a save over 2.1 innings.
Raisel Iglesias has two years left on the four-year deal he signed with the Angels in 2022. Iglesias is set to make $16M in 2024 and 2025 before becoming an unrestricted free agent in 2026, his age 36 season.
