Report: Reds' Brandon Drury drawing trade interest from Mariners, Dodgers, Braves

Sitting more than 20 games under .500, the Cincinnati Reds will be sellers ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline.

After dealing away All-Star starting pitcher Luis Castillo earlier this week to the Seattle Mariners, super utility man Brandon Drury may be the next Reds player headed elsewhere.

According to MLB Network's Jon Morosi, the Mariners, Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves have "checked in" with the Reds about Drury.

Reportedly viewed by teams as "in demand" due to his versatility, Drury is also having a career year, which has only increased his trade stock.

Capable of playing the infield or outfield, Drury has played every infield position but pitcher and catcher for the Reds this season. He has even DH'd.

In 91 games for the Reds this season, Drury is batting .275/.336/.523 with 20 home runs and 59 RBI.

The 29-year-old is no stranger to being traded, having been dealt three times during his eight-year MLB career.

The Arizona Diamondbacks acquired Drury in 2013 as part of a deal that sent former four-time All-Star Justin Upton to the Atlanta Braves.

In 2018, the Diamondbacks sent Drury to the New York Yankees in a three-team trade with the Tampa Bay Rays. Later that year, Drury was traded again, this time to the Toronto Blue Jays for another former All-Star in starting pitcher J.A. Happ.

Through 597 career MLB games for the Diamondbacks, Yankees, Blue Jays, New York Mets and Reds, Drury has compiled 70 home runs and 248 RBI while slashing .253/.303/.432.
