Six Rangers Earn Spot on All-MLB Team

Four Rangers made the All-MLB Second Team — catcher Jonah Heim, outfielder Adolis Garcia, and pitchers Nathan Eovaldi and Jordan Montgomery.

Heim won his first Gold Glove in 2023 after throwing out a career-high 22-of-80 base stealers. His 27.5% rate was the best in the AL.

Heim slashed .258/.317/.438/.755 with 18 home runs and 95 RBI. All were career highs.

García also won his first Gold Glove with a team-leading 11 outfield assists, third most in the AL behind Boston’s Alex Verdugo and Seattle’s Teoscar Hernández.

He hit a home run in five consecutive postseason games before he had to sit out the final two games of the World Series due to an injury.

García slashed .245/.328/.508/.836 with a career-high 39 home runs and 107 RBI.

Eovaldi went 12-5 with a 3.63 ERA for the Rangers and won five of his six postseason starts.

Montgomery joined the Rangers at the trade deadline and won three postseason games. He went 10-11 overall with a 3.20 ERA while going 4-2 with a 2.79 ERA with the Rangers.
