Watch: Matt Olson ties Braves' single-season home run record

Sometimes when you’re on, you’re just on. While the Atlanta Braves have been on all season, no one has been more on than their first baseman, Matt Olson. Olson has simply been on another level.

Heading into Tuesday night’s game, the 29-year-old had already hit seven home runs in the month of September.

In the fourth inning of the game against the Phillies, Olson added on to his legendary season, hitting his 51st homer, tying Andruw Jones’ (51 in 2005), for the most home runs in a season by a Brave.

You can see the swing for yourself below.

At this point, with 17 games to go, it seems to be only a matter of at-bats before he hits his record-breaking 52nd home run. When he does, he will be in the history books, representing what has already been an incredible individual season.
