At several points of the game, the Denver crowd began booing their team due to a poor performance against Minnesota. This prompted Malone to plead with them as they’ve done a lot of good things for the city, most notably winning last year’s championship.

The series will now shift to Minnesota where the Timberwolves are going to enjoy th home court advantage. With the backs against the wall, Malone and company will have to find their championship form or risk getting swept like Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns did in the first round.
