Heat's Bam Adebayo offers unique take on Lakers' title victory in bubble

The NBA's great debate over the Los Angeles Lakers' NBA championship in the bubble during the 2019-20 season remains a common talking point. Many critics have put a metaphorical asterisk next to the championship win, which was played without any fans and on a neutral court. But for Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo, his viewpoint of that title is essentially the opposite.

During an appearance on Playmaker's 'The OGs Show' with Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller, Adebayo called it "the hardest championship to win," in his opinion. The Heat big man also detailed just how odd and uncomfortable things were in the bubble at times, which only backed his argument for why winning that championship was such a tall task.

It's an interesting take from Adebayo, and a very rare way to look at it, but it makes sense. The players were essentially stuck in this bubble for as long as their season lasted, and for the Lakers, that meant all the way to an eventual championship.

Regardless, the Lakers' title will always be a debate, but for LeBron James and company, that banner isn't going anywhere.
