Mavericks news: Luka Doncic and Jordan Brand unveil the Jordan Luka 3

Quickly off the heels of releasing his second signature sneaker with Jordan Brand, Luka Doncic and the footwear giant team up for a third edition as they unveiled the newest Jordan Luka 3. The sneaker comes just in time for the Playoffs as Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks are preparing for a deep run into May. Check out our Sneakers news for more upcoming releases and breaking content!

Jordan Brand released the Jordan Luka 2 in July 2023 and the shoes quickly gained popularity for their performance capabilities on the court. We’ll see a new signature model less than a year later and with Jordan’s latest basketball technology integrated into these sneakers, we could be getting a glimpse of what more the Jordan Basketball line is capable of. Much like its two predecessors, the Jordan Luka 3 will feature Cushion 3.0 tech and an updated IsoPlate stretching the entire length of the midsole. It’s the first shoe to feature a full-length IsoPlate and is carefully crafted to Doncic’s needs on the court.

The Jordan Luka 3 will come in two debut colorways, “Midnight Racer” and “Photo Finish.” Both the shoes’ design and colors incorporated take inspiration for Luka’s love of sports cars and the aerodynamic silhouette of the sneakers achieves exactly that. The “Midnight Racer” colorway features a black base with pink, purple, and seafoam hits. The “Photo Finish” pair is a more vibrant take with highlighter green, pink, and yellow along a clean white base.

The shoe will feature Jumpman branding along the heel and outsole, complete with the Luka Doncic “LD” logo in bold along one of the tongues, accompanied by a Jumpman on the other.

All in all, this could be the cleanest Jordan Luka Doncic sneaker to-date and we’re excited to see him wearing these on-court. The public won’t see a formal release until July, but Doncic will be wearing these throughout the 2024 NBA Playoffs. After making a run at MVP during the Regular Season, he’ll be looking to bring Dallas Mavericks’ fans back to championship glory.

The Jordan Luka 3 is set to receive a Europe-only release on July 5, 2024, with a global release coming later on July 16, 2024. The shoes will come in full family sizing and will retail for $130 in men’s and $100 in grade school sizing on Nike. For the performance benefits and technology behind these shoes, they’re an extremely solid pair at the price point and fans have been waiting for another fresh pair in the Jordan Luka line.
