Paul George gets irritated when asked about Chris Paul

The Phoenix Suns defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 109-101 on Wednesday night.

After the game, Paul George appeared to walk over to Chris Paul in an effort to shake hands.

Paul was having none of it.

The beef between Paul and George dates back to January of this year, when the latter got into it with Suns star Devin Booker.

Needless to say, there is no love lost between these two.

After the game, George was asked about Paul. His response spoke for itself.

“What makes Chris Paul so hard to defend or contain?” a reporter asked.

“Next question,” a clearly irritated George responded.

Paul’s tendency to sometimes get testy with other players is a matter of public record. It happened with James Harden. It happened with George. And it will inevitably happen with someone else in the future. That’s just his style.

While he may not be earning too many sportsmanship stickers, Paul ended up scoring 28 points, dishing out 10 assists, grabbing three rebounds and nabbing three steals in 32 minutes of play against LA.

The Suns have now clinched a playoff spot thanks in large part to his efforts this season.

Paul isn’t particularly pleasant to play against, but he’s definitely someone you want on your team.
