Seven-time All-Star Joe Johnson says he's 'not done' with NBA

Joe Johnson isn't ready to give up on his NBA career just yet.

The seven-time All-Star told TMZ Sports he'd be interested in returning to the NBA after winning back-to-back MVP awards in the BIG3 basketball league.

"Nah, I'm not done," Johnson said when asked if he's given up on making a comeback. "We'll see what happens here ... we'll see, man. We'll see. I don't have nothing definite to tell you, to be honest with you. But, I'mma be out here trying to get some stuff done."

Johnson last appeared in an NBA game in 2018 as a member of the Houston Rockets. He joined the BIG3 a year later and won the championship in his first season with the Triplets.

The University of Arkansas product averaged 22.8 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.3 steals across eight appearances for the Triplets during the 2021 BIG3 season.

The 40-year-old spent most of his NBA career with the Atlanta Hawks (seven seasons). He also played for the Brooklyn Nets, Phoenix Suns, Utah Jazz, Boston Celtics and Miami Heat.

In 1,276 career games, Johnson averaged 16 points, four rebounds and 3.9 assists per game while shooting 44.1% from the field and 37.1% from deep.
