Aaron Rodgers gifted custom diamond chain by Jets All-Pro cornerback

The New York Jets brought in Aaron Rodgers to deliver the team Super Bowl rings and on Saturday, All-Pro cornerback Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner guaranteed Rodgers will leave New York with custom jewelry.

Gardner gifted Rodgers a magnificent diamond chain with a No. 8 attached and told the four-time league MVP that his jeweler wanted to make it for Rodgers because he's his favorite quarterback of all time.

Rodgers was traded from the Green Bay Packers to the Jets on Apr. 24 and three days later, Gardner tweeted that he was cooking something up for his QB.

The second-year cornerback was named Defensive Rookie of the Year, first-team All-Pro and a Pro Bowler as a rookie. And while Rodgers' chain is nice, it doesn't beat Gardner's own memorable custom piece he wore at the 2022 NFL Draft, which included a miniature sauce bottle.

The Jets aren't shying away from their Super Bowl-or-bust expectations. Wide receiver Garrett Wilson told reporters this week, "Yeah, I ain't gonna fake it, we want to win the Super Bowl."

Rodgers echoed Wilson's comment, saying, "We want everyone to jump on the wagon now... High expectations are a good thing."

New York is +2000 to win the Super Bowl, the seventh-best odds in NFL.

All eyes will be on the Jets in 2023. They were scheduled for seven prime-time games, including a mid-afternoon Black Friday tilt with the Miami Dolphins.

If that spotlight isn't blinding enough, then Rodgers' jewelry should do the trick.
