Broncos Elevate Two WRs to Combat Bolts
USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Chargers division rival and Week 17 opponents, the Denver Broncos, make a flurry of moves of their own ahead of their Sunday matchup.

According to Broncos lead writer Aric DiLalla, the team promoted wide receiver Michael Bandy from the practice squad to the active roster and elevated wide receiver Phillip Dorsett from the practice squad.

The Broncos also elevated outside linebacker Ronnie Perkins from the practice squad to the game-day roster. Bandy, the former Bolt, may have a chance to play against his former team. He spent the 2022 season with Los Angeles, where he caught 10 passes for 89 yards in 10 games and had a receiving success rate of 33.3%.

As for Dorsett, he's panned out a successful career for himself with the Patriots, Texans, Colts, Jaguars, Seahawks, and Broncos. In 2023, his first in Denver, he only played in one game where he had only one target, zero touchdowns, receptions, and yards. It's unsure what type of role he'll play on Sunday's game, if any, but LA should still be weary of these moves ahead of their matchup.

The Chargers will look for their first win in Denver since 2018.
