Former NFL quarterback and Cleveland Browns legend Bernie Kosar went viral on Sunday when he shared pictures online showing he spent time with entertainment superstar and newish Kansas City Chiefs fan Taylor Swift ahead of Kansas City's home win over the Los Angeles Chargers:
Halftime for the KC game now. @taylorswift. @tkelce with a phenomenal first half!!!https://t.co/kiJYo1A9kv@kosarwellness #TaylorSwift #Kelce #UMatter #KosarWellness #UMatterWellness #FoundationalNutrition #Nutrition #Selfcare #Wellness #Health #Fitness #Supplements pic.twitter.com/DNIESC8JDF

According to Ryan Glasspiegel of the New York Post, Kosar explained during a Monday appearance on 92.3 The Fan's "The Ken Carman Show with Anthony Lima" that he was in Kansas City for reasons related to the Operation Breakthrough charity supported by Chiefs All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce, who has generated numerous headlines this season for his relationship with Swift.
Kelce and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, Travis's brother, are alumni of Cleveland Heights High School.
"I think my concussion issues would really be elevated if I said she was begging for a picture with the old man," Kosar joked about getting the photos with one of the world's most famous individuals. Arguably the most beloved figure in Browns history also admitted he was watching All-Pro pass-rusher Myles Garrett help Cleveland earn a thrilling yet controversial 39-38 win at the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday afternoon.
"To be in Kansas City and with Taylor Swift [but] be fixated on Myles Garrett and his athleticism probably debates some of my coolness right there — I’m making people move so I can see the Browns game instead of focusing on talking to Taylor Swift," Kosar acknowledged during his radio interview.
As for Swift's Chiefs, they improved to 4-0 in games she's attended this season. Travis Kelce recorded 12 receptions for 179 yards and a touchdown in the 31-17 win over the Chargers that put Kansas City at
6-1 ahead of this coming Sunday's matchup at the 2-5 Denver Broncos.
"Flat-out, it’s just amazing what a genuine, nice person she is," Kosar added about Swift. "With the unbelievable talent the star she’s become, to see she’s an even better person was just really cool. Yesterday was a special time."
While Travis Kelce is a two-time Super Bowl champion, the Browns have never appeared in a title game during the Super Bowl era. Perhaps Kosar can convince Swift to share some of the good luck she's provided the Chiefs with the Browns over the next several months.
