Cardinals promote WR Dan Chisena to active roster
Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

As the Arizona Cardinals prepare for their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers tomorrow, Arizona are bringing wide receiver Dan Chisena along with them.

According to Cardinals insider Darren Urban, he has stated on X (formerly Twitter) that Chisena has been promoted to the Cardinals active, 53-man roster.

Despite receiver Zach Pascal being originally listed as questionable due to personal reasons, he will now miss tomorrow’s game with the birth of his child being today.

With Pascal ruled out vs. Pittsburgh, Chisena may suit up for his first game as a Cardinal in his home state of Pennsylvania.

Chisena was born in Paoli, Pennsylvania and went to Penn State where he would play two seasons for the Lions.

Prior to coming to the valley, Chisena spent three seasons with the Minnesota Vikings for 27 games in total.

Furthermore, Chisena was signed by the Steelers to a reserve/future contract on Jan. 23.

However, Pittsburgh waived him on Aug. 23 before he was re-signed by the Vikings on Oct. 11 for a second stint.

Yet again, Minnesota waived him on Nov 21.

Without a team, the Cardinals decided to sign him the next day to their practice squad.

Overall, even though Chisena is listed as a receiver, he has 11 tackles in his NFL career but no offensive statistics to his name.
