The Los Angeles Chargers are bringing back a familiar face to the team next season, quarterback Easton Stick. Stick started in four games for the Bolts last season after Justin Herbert went down with an injury.

During his short stint as the starter, Stick threw 1,129 yards with three touchdowns. While he didn't pick up any wins for the Bolts, he looked competent as a quarterback in the NFL.
The Bolts likely wanted to have some continuity behind Herbert entering the first season with new head coach Jim Harbaugh. Having a good backup quarterback is crucial for teams and Stick showed that he was capable of carrying the load if the worst happens again to Herbert.
