Chargers Injury Report: 2 Ailing Bolts Return To Practice Ahead Of Packers Game

Your Los Angeles Chargers received some good news Thursday, when two vets suited up for some finite practice run after being shelved during the club's Wednesday workouts, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

Starting LA nose tackle Sebastian Joseph-Day, who sat out Wednesday's practice with a knee injury, was a limited participant Thursday.

Tight end Donald Parham Jr., himself grappling with a hip ailment, also was a limited participant Thursday after entirely sitting out Wednesday. He's a second-stringer, but given the uncertain fate of Gerald Everett this weekend, if Parham also can't go, LA will need to turn to his backup, Stone Smartt.

That said, it's encouraging to see that they are at least putting in some work, which suggests that perhaps both players are seeing their practice reps limited in anticipation of legitimate roles on the field this weekend, when the Bolts head to Green Bay to face off against Jordan Love's new-look 3-6 Packers.

At 4-5 themselves, the Chargers are hoping to steady their season following a disappointing 41-38 loss Sunday at the hands of Green Bay's NFC North nemeses, the Detroit Lions.
