When the Kansas City Chiefs traded All-Pro Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins in March, they knew they wouldn't be able to replace his production with one player. Instead, Kansas City continued a busy offseason by adding the likes of wideouts Marquez Valdes-Scantling and JuJu Smith-Schuster to the fold.
In late April, the Chiefs also used a second-round pick in the NFL Draft to select wide receier Skyy Moore out of Western Michigan. Moore had a monster 2021 season, finishing atop the MAC leaderboard in receiving touchdowns (10), while placing second in both receptions (95) and receiving yards (1,292) as well.
The 21-year-old is expected to line up behind Valdes-Scantling, Smith-Schuster and one-time Pro Bowler Mecole Hardman on the Kansas City depth chart, but should see plenty of targets in a pass-heavy offense. Chiefs fans learned that Moore suffered a hip injury during Tuesday's training camp session, but it's still too early to tell how serious the ailment is.
