Commanders rank last in NFLPA team report cards
Dan Snyder. Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The NFLPA released its first annual report cards for teams around the league with the Washington Commanders trailing all 31 other teams.

The first report was released on Wednesday and took into account several different factors in giving impending NFL free agents a better idea of who to sign with once the new league year opens.

  • Treatment of families
  • Nutrition
  • Weight room
  • Strength staff
  • Training room
  • Training staff
  • Travel

Washington ranked dead last overall while receiving an “F” grade in terms of treatment of families, training room and travel. In fact, the NFLPA gave Daniel Snyder’s squad an “F-” in the travel category.

On the other side of the ledger, the Minnesota Vikings ranked No. 1 overall. They were followed by the Miami Dolphins and Las Vegas Raiders in the top three. Minnesota received an “A” across the board with perfect scores in nutrition, strength staff, training room and training staff.

Joining the Commanders at the bottom were the Arizona Cardinals (31st) and Los Angeles Chargers (30th).

“One of the things we wanted to be able to present to players was, what are the decisions your team is making when given the option to do something for you,” NFLPA president JC Tretter said in a statement.

You can read the breakdowns here from the official NFLPA website.

As for the Commanders specifically, this is the latest example of the organization embarrassing itself on a near never-ending loop.

Led by embattled owner Daniel Snyder, Washington has been on the receiving end of a ton of criticism in recent years. From workplace misconduct allegations to allegations for financial fraud, the Commanders are seen as a laughingstock.

This isn’t going to do much to change that narrative with Snyder involved in messes on multiple fronts as he looks to unload the long-downtrodden organization.
