Deon Bush is one of the heroes for the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC Championship win ower the Baltimore Ravens. His interception helped his team make their fourth Super Bowl appearance in five years.

The veteran DB stepped up at the biggest moment despite not playing for much of the Chiefs’ 2023 campaign. As his team celebrates their big win, the 30-year-old feels nothing but happiness.

Kansas City Chiefs’ Deon Bush: God is good

The NFL Network immediately interviewed the free safety after the game for his heroics. They asked him how he felt after making an impact on such a big game.

He found it tough to put his feelings into words, thanking God for allowing his team to one-up the top-seeded Ravens:

“God is good, man,” Bush told NFL Network’s Sheree Burruss. “Man, God is good. It’s unexplainable, unexplainable man.”

He expressed his belief in his team, backing themselves to take on any franchise and win. He believed that the team has what it takes to win them all.

“We’ve got the best organization in the world. Everybody believed inside the organization, we knew that everybody around the world were saying we’re gonna lose. We’re champions, that’s what we do. We just come out here and play and do what we do.”

Bush didn’t contribute any tackles during the game. However, his pick helped the Chiefs kill off any momentum the Ravens were trying to build to take the game back from the AFC West champions.

Onwards to Vegas and the Niners

Now that they sealed their tickets to Las Vegas, their focus now shifts towards the San Francisco 49ers. Their Super Bowl LVIII opponents mounted an incredible comeback after trailing 24-7 against the Detroit Lions at the half.

They will pay special attention to Brock Purdy, who showcased his ability to extend plays and find his targets when possible. Their offensive weapons also provide enough cause for concern to Bush and the Chiefs DBs.

However, Bush will back his team against anyone and counts on them to emerge as back-to-back Super Bowl champs.
