Earl Thomas' wife files for divorce seven months after arrest

Former Baltimore Ravens safety Earl Thomas can't find a new home in the NFL after being released by the club in August for character issues. Finding a job isn't even his biggest problem, however.

Thomas' wife, Nina, has filed for divorce from the seven-time Pro Bowler, according to TMZ Sports. Court records show that she filed for separation on Nov. 3, saying that adultery is the cause of the marriage coming to an end.

Despite the pair trying to work through their issues, Nina Thomas said in the filing that there's no "reasonable expectation of reconciliation."

Thomas himself had put in a lot of work to make their marriage stick after he was allegedly caught cheating on his wife at a rented home in Austin, Texas, in April. Nina ended up being arrested for holding Thomas at gunpoint when she caught her husband with another woman.

Thomas married Nina in April 2016, but she made it clear that she's officially done with the 31-year-old. The pair have three children together, and in the court filing, Nina is asking for Thomas to have limited access to the kids until "he takes a parenting course and can show evidence that he is able to care for the children for an extended period of time."
