Former Packers FB John Kuhn: Aaron Rodgers 'conflicted' about future in Green Bay

Last week, reports surfaced that Aaron Rodgers wants out of Green Bay, but according to former teammate John Kuhn, it may not be that simple. The retired fullback said he spoke to Rodgers and that he is feeling "conflicted" about his future with the team.

"I have talked to Aaron Rodgers," Kuhn said in an interview with CBS Sports Radio. "I won't say exactly what we talked about. I will say he's conflicted because this man loves to play the game of football. This man loves to be a Green Bay Packer and this man truly sees careers."

Kuhn is someone who presumably knows what he's talking about, as he spent nine seasons playing with Rodgers on the Packers. Kuhn said that Rodgers has looked at the careers of players whose careers didn't get the ending he feels they deserved and that he is "trying to take his own destiny within his own hands."

Rodgers' primary frustration seems to come from the feeling that the front office has not done enough to build around him, including trading up to take quarterback Jordan Love in the first round in a class that was stacked with talent at wide receiver.

So far, the Packers have expressed their desire to do whatever it takes to keep Rodgers in Green Bay, but that reportedly may require parting ways with general manager Brian Gutekunst, who Rodgers does not seem to be a fan of.
