NFL 'SNF' Week 4: Player props for Jets vs. Chiefs

The "Sunday Night Football" crew heads to MetLife Stadium this week for an AFC matchup between the New York Jets and the Kansas City Chiefs. Let's check out some prop bets and target our two favorite props for "SNF."

Zach Wilson under 172.5 passing yards (-115 DraftKings)

Zach Wilson unders are the gifts that keep on giving. The Jets quarterback has gone under 172.5 passing yards in four straight starts while averaging only 139.8 yards per game. Wilson has been the worst starting QB in the NFL through three weeks, and it's not out of the realm of possibility that he could be benched mid-game.

The Chiefs defense is a much-improved unit this year, too. Through three weeks, Kansas City ranks sixth in the NFL passing yards allowed per game (178.0) and eighth in passing yards allowed per attempt (5.4). This disruptive defensive line, led by star DT Chris Jones, should dominate New York's below-average offensive line and put pressure on Wilson throughout the game.

For the Jets to compete in this game, they need to slow down the clock and keep Patrick Mahomes off the field. That means more Breece Hall on the ground and less Wilson through the air, which should lead to another under.

Patrick Mahomes over 0.5 interceptions (+116 FanDuel)

Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback in football, but he's not immune to mistakes. The reigning Super Bowl MVP has thrown 25 interceptions over the last two seasons, and he's already thrown two picks through three games this year.

The Jets don't have many advantages in this matchup, but they do have one when it comes to their secondary against Kansas City's wide receivers. Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed should dominate Kadarius Toney, Rashee Rice and Skyy Moore in the passing game. If the defensive front can put pressure on Mahomes and force him into risky decisions, these ball hawks in the secondary will be able to jump on them.

At plus money, this is a decent gamble to make.
