NFL will not discipline Raiders WR Davante Adams for 2022 incident

The Las Vegas Raiders learned on Saturday that wide receiver Davante Adams will not be punished by the league for a 2022 incident that saw him shove a photographer in Kansas City. That is according to a report from NFL Network's Tom Pelissero,

Following the Raiders' Week 5 30-29 Monday night loss in Kansas City of the 2022 season, Adams shoved a photographer that was standing between him and the locker room on his way off the field.

Adams initially faced a charge for misdemeanor assault that was eventually dropped.

Adams apologized to the photographer.

Despite all of that the NFL's probe into the incident was still ongoing. Until now. It's good news for Adams and the Raiders because now they do not have to worry about him potentially missing any games during the 2024 season.

It also should not be much of a surprise. If the NFL was going to suspend him or punish him it probably would have already done so. But when charges were dropped and Adams apologized that seemed to be like the end of the incident.

Now that is officially the case.
