Patriots keep losing after Tom Brady signs with Buccaneers

Tom Brady isn't the only player the New England Patriots have lost over the past couple of days.

With Brady headed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, many of his former Patriots teammates have also jumped ship.

Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores and Detroit Lions head coach Matt Patricia, both former New England assistants, continue poaching members of Bill Belichick's squad.

Linebacker Kyle Van Noy signed a four-year, $51 million deal with the Miami Dolphins, and center Ted Karras will join him in Miami on a one-year, $4 million deal.

Safety Duron Harmon was traded to the Detroit Lions in a cap-clearing move by New England, and Danny Shelton also joined the Lions on two-year, $8 million deal.

Quite clearly, the Brady fallout has a trickle-down effect. Many now-former Pats earned big paydays that Belichick was not prepared to give them.

New England has quite a bit of work to do ahead of the summer, but the Pats do have some draft picks they can use in potential trades to add another quarterback or fill the holes on defense.

Whatever they decide to do, they'll certainly be missing all of the players who have left for new teams.
