Rams' Jalen Ramsey says Bills game wasn't his worst

Los Angeles Rams star cornerback Jalen Ramsey is quite aware individuals throughout the NFL community believe he was downright dreadful during the 31-10 "Thursday Night Football" loss to the Buffalo Bills back on Sept. 8. He has a message for his critics ahead of this Sunday's home game versus the 0-1 Atlanta Falcons.

"I take it as a compliment that people don’t think I ever played a bad game. I mean, s---," Ramsey said on Friday, per Sarah Barshop of ESPN (h/t Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk). "I guarantee that . . . wasn’t my worst game I’ve ever played. If that’s what people think, s---. I’ve been doing well for myself."

As Kevin Harrish noted for The Comeback, Ramsey referred to Bills quarterback Josh Allen as "trash" shortly after Buffalo used a first-round pick to draft Allen in 2018. In Week 1, Allen targeted Ramsey seven times and completed six of those passes for 124 yards, two touchdowns and a perfect passer rating of 158.3:

"There’s never anything anybody can tell me that I haven’t already told myself, times 10 probably," Ramsey said about comments he may have heard on the field during the game or seen via social media over the past week or so. "I cuss myself out in my mind like worse than anybody I could ever speak to. Just how I am and the standards I hold myself to."

The five-time Pro Bowl selection with three First-Team All-Pro appearances on his résumé will look to bounce back in a big way against the Falcons on Sunday.
