Report: Broncos Re-Sign ERFA WR Michael Bandy

The Denver Broncos had two exclusive-rights free agents heading into the offseason. They're now both under contract.

Per Over The Cap's Jason Fitzgerald (via The Denver Gazette), the Broncos in January re-signed wide receiver Michael Bandy to a one-year tender worth a non-guaranteed $915,000 for the 2024 campaign.

Last month, Denver inked ERFA inside linebacker Jonas Griffith on a similar deal: one year, $985,000 — a slight increase due to his NFL experience.

Bandy, 26, joined the Broncos in July 2023 following stints with the then-XFL's Houston Roughnecks and the Los Angeles Chargers. The former undrafted free agent spent much of the season on Denver's practice squad; he appeared in one game but was held off the stat sheet.

For his career, Bandy has caught 10 passes for 89 scoreless yards, adding four punt returns for 88 yards across 270 total snaps.

He's one of few familiar faces returning to Denver's WR corps, which may undergo a radical transformation in the weeks ahead. uStadium reported Wednesday that starters Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy soon "could be on their way out," with Jeudy "more likely" to be traded.
