Report: Mecole Hardman’s Agent Responds To Serious Allegation Surrounding Kansas City Chiefs WR
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The agent representing Mecole Hardman responded to the serious allegation surrounding the wide receiver and the New York Jets. A few Jets players have accused Hardman of leaking the Jets game plan to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Mecole Hardman was accused of leaking game plans

Per GH Media:

There is officially an NFL beef brewing between numerous New York Jets players and Mecole Hardman of the Kansas City Chiefs. Mecole caught the game winning walk off touchdown in the Super Bowl and on Wednesday in an interview he took many jabs at his former team the Jets about how they are not a winning team.

Sauce Gardener of the Jets posted and quickly took down a post accusing Hardman of leaking their offensive game plan to the Philadelphia Eagles. Now there are more players on the team sharing the same sentiment.

Hardman saved the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl win

Hardman saved the Chiefs season when he caught the Super Bowl-winning touchdown pass in overtime against the San Francisco 49ers. But Hardman has had a rough patch in the news recently. On top of the allegations of leaking the Jets’ game plan, Hardman allegedly could have opened up the Chiefs to a tampering charge.

Hardman’s agent responds to one allegation

Per Mike Florio with NBC Sports, Hardman’s agent, Andy Simms, responded to the game-plan leak allegation:

“Agent Andy Simms, who represents Hardman, had this to say about the contention that Hardman leaked game-plan information to the Chiefs and Eagles during his time with the Jets: “It’s a laughable and ridiculous allegation.” Simms’s comments came in response to an email from PFT.”

There’s a lot of laughing on in Hardman’s camp Thursday. But that could change if the league decides to investigate both of the claims against Hardman.
