Three potential 2023 NFL Draft upgrades for struggling Broncos OL

The Broncos (4-10) have allowed 51 sacks in 14 games this season, tied for the most in the league with the Rams. It's clear they need to draft at least one offensive lineman to upgrade the struggling unit.

Per Tankathon, the Broncos have the 26th pick in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft as of now, and several intriguing O-line prospects are within this range.

Broderick Jones, OT, Georgia

Jones was part of a National Championship in 2021 and helped Georgia make its second consecutive College Football Playoff alongside a Southeastern Conference title this season.

Jones' blocking paved the way for the Bulldogs' success.

"He's the total package, a mauler in the run game and an effortless blocker in the passing game. He hasn't allowed a single sack this season," writes ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr.

Jones appears to possess the complete toolbox an offensive tackle needs, which might make him an ideal fit in Denver.

Anton Harrison, OT, Oklahoma

Oklahoma is renowned for its recent O-line pedigree since the Sooners produced Pro Bowlers like Trent Williams (49ers), Lane Johnson (Eagles) and Creed Humphrey (Chiefs).

Harrison might be next in line. He made the 2022 All-Big 12 First Team despite being considered a raw talent who needs refinement.

"You see the natural athleticism in every pass set he takes, even if his technique isn't quite dialed in yet," writes Pro Football Focus' Mike Renner.

Harrison may take more time to develop, but he provides a great reward if he does given his natural upside.

O'Cyrus Torrence, G, Florida

A top priority for an offensive lineman is not surrendering sacks. Torrence fulfills this job requirement.

"Torrence hasn't given up a sack since 2019, and he allowed just six pressures over 1,023 pass-blocking snaps," writes ESPN's Todd McShay.
