The Miami Dolphins may have struck out on potentially landing former Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle La'el Collins -- who is heading to the Cincinnati Bengals -- but they're reportedly pursuing another notable player at the same position.
And there’s the action behind Dolphins serious interest in Terron Armstead. This has been heating up recently and they’d like to close the deal on what would be their marquee signing of free agency at their biggest need. https://t.co/OQrns1bG7g

Armstead has spent his entire nine-year career with the New Orleans Saints and made three straight Pro Bowls from 2018 to 2020. Armstead was also named second-team All-Pro in 2018.
The 30-year-old was selected by New Orleans in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft and has played 97 regular season games with the franchise, making 93 starts, and starting and playing nine postseason contests with the Saints as well. Armstead was named first team All-SWAC three times while playing college football with Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
Armstead has missed chunks of games due to injury in multiple seasons, including in 2016 when he was limited to seven contests after suffering a knee injury. He appeared in just eight games in 2021.
