Watch: Broncos' Marlon Mack scores on 66-yard touchdown run

Marlon Mack raced 66 yards to the house and helped the Broncos inch toward their division rival.

Early in the third quarter, the Chiefs pressured the Broncos, which was a mistake. Mack broke through their defense and scored his first touchdown of the season.

Mack's play continues to build momentum for Denver, who is slowly mounting a comeback against Kansas City. It trails 27-21.

After falling behind 27-0, Denver intercepted Patrick Mahomes twice. Russell Wilson and company scored points off each turnover. Wilson threw two touchdown passes to wideout Jerry Jeudy and cut the deficit to 27-14 before halftime.

Mack's touchdown might mark a vital turning point since the Broncos continued to whittle the Chiefs' lead down and gave them momentum.

If the Broncos (4-9) can pull off a miraculous upset, it would be a consolation prize for a disappointing season.

Through 12 games, the Broncos rank last in scoring offense (13.8 points per game) They've only passed the 20-point mark twice. The ineptitude was unexpected since they traded two first-round draft picks (2022 and 2023) for Wilson, believing he could save the franchise.

Since many questions surround the organization, it would take a victory over the Chiefs (9-3). The Broncos have lost 13 straight games to them.
