Watch TE Donald Parham Jr.'s Critical TD Vs Chicago
USA TODAY Sports

Your 3-4 Los Angeles Chargers came away with a big 30-13 Sunday Night Football win against the lowly 2-6 Chicago Bears, where the offense was firing on all cylinders.

Donald Parham Jr. had to step in for the injured Gerald Everett and the fourth-year tight end delivered capping off a long drive with yet another red zone touchdown.

Parham Jr. was able to make the most out of his increased offensive role this week registering 4 catches for 43 yards and a touchdown.

The big 6'8 237 pound tight end has always been a big red zone threat his entire career but a bigger role has been shown in 2023.

On the year Parham Jr. has 13 catches for 104 yards and 4 touchdowns.

This comes during a big offensive spectacle where Justin Herbert tossed for 298 yards and 3 touchdowns, the dynamic dual-threat running back had over 100 total yards, and three other receivers recorded over 40 yards through the air.

While Parham Jr. is still most likely viewed as the Bolts' backup tight end a bigger role may be in play for a little while longer as Gerald Everett still seems to be dealing with his hip injury.

Parham Jr. and the Chargers will be flying to the other side of the country to face off against the New York Jets who have a formidable defense.

So expect Los Angeles to play both on the ground and through the air, as the team looks to turn a big Sunday night win into a winning streak and place the Chargers back into the AFC playoff race.
