With Titans, WR Chris Conley tries to impact third AFC South team

Wide receiver Chris Conley has gotten his fill of the AFC South.

The former Georgia standout has already played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans in his eight-season career after spending three seasons in Kansas City with the Chiefs.

Now, Conley will try to make his impact with the Tennessee Titans after signing with them this week off of Kansas City's practice squad.

The Titans losing rookie wideout Kyle Phillips to injured reserve creates even more of a need for an impact wideout. The team traded A.J. Brown in the offseason and has its 2022 first-round pick, wideout Treylon Burks, on IR as well.

Conley hasn't logged any meaningful stats this season but had 323 yards and two touchdowns last year in Houston in a supporting role.

With the way the AFC South is shaping up, the Titans should be the favorites once again to make the playoffs. If Conley can provide even somewhat of a spark for the passing game, it'll do wonders for Tennessee. After all, the team can't rely too heavily on running back Derrick Henry.

As Conley continues on with his eighth season, the Titans will see if they can be the next AFC South team to utilize the wideout's talents. If not, well, there's always the Indianapolis Colts.
