Carey Price sold his house for less than expected
Marc DesRosiers-USA TODAY Sports

Carey Price and his family have moved out West to live there full-time.

The former goalie put his Candiac home up for sale last year, and rented it to a Canadiens player until a buyer could be found.

Now it’s official. The house has been sold… but for less than expected. The original asking price was $1.8 million, and the selling price ended up being $1.5 million, according to this TSN article:

According to Cap Friendly, Price has estimated career earnings of over $105 million.

That said, I don’t want to speak out of turn, but I don’t think “losing” $300,000 is going to keep him up at night… Hehe.

Note that the house in question is magnificent.

The modern style inside in the kitchen and master bedroom is interesting, and the home theater is perfect for a family with kids…

And with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, let’s just say there’s plenty of room :

It’s beautiful on the inside and just as much on the outside.

The beige façade means that the house isn’t necessarily flashy, even though it’s big, which was the style reserved for Price.

I was talking about the home theater, which was perfect for the kids… But the in-ground pool and backyard space are ideal too:

1.5 million is still a lot of money.

On the other hand, with the real estate market gaining momentum in recent years…

It seems to surprise me that the house sold for less than expected.

Remember that earlier in the text, I mentioned that a Habs player was renting the goalie’s house. Has he been evicted now that the house has been sold… Or, did he buy it himself?

In gusts

– He’s on fire!

– It’s still the talk of the town.
