NHL bets: Three plus-money SGPs for Thursday's big night

It's a packed Thursday night of NHL action with some high-quality games all over the place. We're going to need to load up on a few, and we're sticking with the same approach of Same Game Parlaying points from the spots that look inviting towards goals.

Three plus-money SGPs for your consideration await.

1u: Brock Boeser & J.T. Miller 1+ point each (+118 DK)

One of the headlining games of the night is Vancouver visiting Boston, as we're treated to the top teams in both conferences squaring off. Both sides sport stout defenses and strong offenses, and I for one am leaning toward the offenses owning the night.

As such, I'd like a piece of the action. Seeing that the Bruins' penalty kill ranks fourth-worst over the last 20 days and the Canucks' power play is the second-best in the same span, I'm expecting a power-play goal, which only makes me feel better about linemates and PP1 members Brock Boeser and J.T. Miller getting involved.

Miller has 14 points in his past 10 games and 12 in his last nine on the road. Seven of those recent points have come on the power play, and Miller has two points in his last three meetings with the Bruins, both of which have come on the man-up advantage.

Boeser has been productive of late, with eight points in his past three games, four of them being on the power play. He has a point in four straight against the Bruins, and you guessed it, three were power-play points.

1u: Nazem Kadri & Rasmus Andersson 1+ point each (+198 DK)

Rasmus Andersson is plus-money for a point, so this is what the kids call "getting greedy." My expectation of Calgary goals is relatively simple: New Jersey is allowing 4.0 goals per game at home over the past 45 days, and goalie Vitek Vanacek has allowed 12 goals in his past three starts.

Nazem Kadri has 12 points in his past 10 games, including three on Tuesday. He's recorded a point in six straight on the road and three straight against the Devils. Andersson should be on the ice with Kadri for most of the game and has been similarly steady on the road, with seven points in his last eight. The defenseman has a point in seven straight against New Jersey.

By all means, back Andersson straight. I'm going aggressive.

1u: Cale Makar & Jonathan Drouin 1+ point each (+132 DK)

Colorado vs. Carolina is another game that is worth a watch between two of the NHL's best. It's hard for me to imagine the pace slowing down much in Avalanche games, as 12 of their past 14 games have seen 6+ goals scored.

I'll happily pair these two together, who should be on the ice together during 5v5 play and on any power-play chances.

Makar has a point in eight straight games and 11 in his past 10 on the road. He has four points in his past three games against the Hurricanes. Drouin has been steady on the Avalanche top line, with nine points in his past 10 games and 10 in his past 10 as the visitor.
