We broke through with a real solid night on the ice yesterday, and now we look to build on that with Friday's lone game. It's Game 2 for the Devils and Hurricanes, with Carolina taking the first one 5-1. There were only 42 total shots on goal, and while we may get a few more tonight, this does not have the makings of a prop-heavy series like the other three do.
My recommendation is to go light and save the bankroll for the games that offer a bit more promise. With that being said, I do have one bet I like quite a bit.
Stefan Noesen skates on Carolina's top line alongside Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis, and he's a member of the top power play unit. To get a price like this for a player in that role is always a bet worth exploring, and we are most definitely loading it up this evening.
That top line accounted for two goals on Wednesday, with Noesen registering an assist in the third period. Noesen now has five points in seven games this postseason, including a point in three of four at home.
He also has four points in five games against the Devils this season, and his regular season success against them came when he wasn't even in the role he has now.
Surrounded by talented skaters both at even-strength and on the power play, Noesen to get on the scoresheet is my favorite play of the day in what could be a tight game otherwise.
