Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri continues to divide opinions among Bianconeri supporters, as some fans in attendance at the Allianz Stadium sang chants in support of him during the first half against Milan, while other sections of the ground whistled in response.
The Old Lady endured a tough-to-watch first half against the Rossoneri on Saturday afternoon, with Dusan Vlahovic registering the only shots on target, one after seven minutes and one from a free-kick in injury time.
Juventus were set up in their customary 3-5-2 shape, and continued to adopt a conservative-minded approach, which some supporters have grown frustrated by in recent years.
The focus of the supporters’ complaints have gone in Allegri’s direction, and numerous reports suggest that the 56-year-old could now be approaching the end of his second tenure in Turin.
The Milan game showed that there are still some supporters who support the coach. It was sections of the Curva Sud who sang in support of Allegri, but they were met by boos and whistles from large portions of the other stands.
