Barcelona in contact with agent of Sergi Roberto

Barcelona want to keep hold of Sergi Roberto.

The club captain's contract will expire at the end of the season.

Marca says Barca wish for the defensive utility to stay and intend to offer him a new contract.

Management have already contacted Jos Mara Orobitg, the player's agent, to convey the intention to extend the contract.

At the moment, he has not been tabled an offer, only the intention to sit down and talk about the captain's continuity. There is yet no specific date for the meeting.
