Capello backing Bologna pair Motta and Zirkzee for AC Milan move

Former AC Milan coach Fabio Capello sees Thiago Motta moving to the Rossonero.

The Bologna coach is being linked with Stefano Pioli's job at Milan for next season.

Capello told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "He seems like a coach ready to make the leap.

"What if he brought in Zirkzee? Well, it would be ideal. Thiago Motta was lucky enough to have the surprise centre forward of the season in his team and he managed him very well.

"If we talk about this, however, we go into another, decidedly complex area.

"The players are always the most important thing: it is possible to demonstrate that you are good only if you have strong players."
