Tottenham Hotspur have received a boost in their pursuit of Samuel Iling-Junior.

While Tottenham are focused on finishing in the top four of the Premier League, club officials have started to plan for the summer window.

England international Samuel Iling-Junior is ‘liked’ by the North London club and according to Calciomercato and Juventus are ready to sanction his departure for a fee between €15-20 million.

Iling-Junior might have made it to the Italian giants’ first team towards the end of 2022, but he hasn’t really had the best of times since then. The former Chelsea youth product has had limited game time and he hasn’t been able to impress the coaches at the Italian club.

Despite his contract running out in the summer of 2025, a contract extension is unlikely. It seems Juventus would rather sell him in the upcoming window than risk losing out on him for free next summer. As a result, they are looking to raise around €15-20 million from his sale and Tottenham are the ones looking to bring him back to England.

Tottenham move would be ideal for Samuel Iling-Junior

Ange Postecoglou has had a great first season with the club so far and he is now looking to build on it. While their attack has done well throughout the season, the Australian is still keen on reinforcing it. He wants more depth on the flanks as it will give him more freedom to use the likes of Son Heung-min and Richarlison in a more central role.

Iling-Junior is someone who has huge potential and he could do wonders for the North London club in the long term. Meanwhile, a return to his homeland might help him get his career back on track after his struggles in Turin.
