Juventus have been left impressed by Samuel Iling-Junior’s development and are planning to offer the Englishman a new contract in the coming months.

The 20-year-old midfielder had seemingly been destined to leave the club in the near future, helping the financial situation in Turin, but he’s started to shine in recent months. In the recent outing against Salernitana, he scored a key goal as Juventus secured a 2-1 win.

Juventus are also starting to grow increasingly unimpressed with the work of Filip Kostic, who has only provided four assists in 1100 minutes of action this term, and are thinking of offering more chances to Iling-Junior.

As reported by Tuttosport via TMW, Juventus are planning to meet with Iling-Junior’s entourage in the coming weeks to start laying the foundations of a new contract. His current deal expires in the summer of 2025 and the club don’t want to be caught in an awkward spot in the summer.

One club that was interested in signing the 20-year-old Englishman was Monza, who expressed an interest in signing on him a loan deal, but the Bianconeri weren’t open to this idea.

Iling-Junior has made 28 appearances for the Juventus first team, scoring two goals and providing three assists.
