Rennes veteran Matic targets Prem return

Ex-Chelsea and Manchester United star Nemanja Matic is hoping to return to the Premier League.

The Serbian wants to leave Rennes in France after an unhappy few months with the Ligue 1 side.

Per L'Equipe, Matic is not gelling with his new teammates, nor are things going well in France for his family.

The source states that he wants to see his contract canceled so that he can find a new team.

He does have a deal that goes until 2025, but he hopes that Rennes will reach an agreement.

In the event the club force him to stay, he will then choose to retire from the game.
