Tottenham could make a stunning player-plus-cash offer to sign in-form Premier League star.

Veliz’s loan spell at Sevilla has not gone according to plan, with the promising youngster seeing limited playing time in La Liga.

This development has raised concerns among Spurs officials, prompting former scout Bryan King to advocate for Veliz’s return to the club and a subsequent loan move to an English side.

Recent reports indicate that the North London club are indeed contemplating Veliz’s future, with the club already exploring potential loan options for Veliz for the upcoming season.

Among the clubs expressing interest in Veliz’s services, Premier League outfit Bournemouth has emerged as a frontrunner.

According to a recent report from Argentine journalist Uriel Lugt, Bournemouth are closely monitoring Veliz’s situation.

Tottenham could use Veliz plus cash for Solanke

Club insider John Wenham thinks Spurs could use Alejo Veliz as part of the deal to bring in Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke.

Wenham believes Solanke would the perfect signing for Ange Postecoglou and would tick a lot of boxes for Spurs.

Speaking to Tottenham News, he said:

“An interesting angle with Veliz’s link to Bournemouth is Tottenham’s interest in Solanke.”

“I think he would be a brilliant signing for Spurs, and he is a player who ticks a lot of boxes.

“Whether some sort of deal can be worked out where Veliz is used as part of a deal to bring Solanke to Tottenham, I think that is possible.”

Spurs are set to bolster their attacking options this summer and the former Liverpool striker has been strongly linked with a move.

A recent report from Football Insider claimed that Tottenham’s interest in Solanke is concrete and will be competing against the likes of Arsenal and West Ham for his signature.

He has been incredible this season, scoring 19 goals for the Cherries across all competitions and 17 in the Premier League, just three goals behind top scorers Erling Haaland and Cole Palmer.
