Mo Salah became only the fifth player to score 200 goals for Liverpool on Saturday.

Salah reached the landmark with a deflected shot 76 minutes into an away game at Crystal Palace.

His milestone strike drew Liverpool level at 1-1 after a Jean-Philippe Mateta penalty kick had earlier put Palace ahead.

The Egyptian forward's 200th Reds goal came in his 326th game for the club.

Of Salah's first 200 goals for Liverpool, 148 have come in the Premier League. He is the club's leading scorer in that competition.

However, Salah is still a long way behind Ian Rush on the list of Liverpool's all-time leading scorers in all competitions.

Rush netted 346 goals in 660 Liverpool games between 1980 and 1996.

Roger Hunt (285), Gordon Hodgson (241) and Billy Liddell (228) are the other players ahead of Salah on that list.

Salah joined Liverpool from Roma in June 2017.

His goals have helped Liverpool win seven different trophies - the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, Community Shield, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup - during his six and a half seasons at Anfield.

Salah's 200th goal for Liverpool arrived 2,310 days after his first, which was scored on his debut in a 3-3 draw at Watford in August 2017.
