The USC Trojans have officially announced the signing of former Auburn wide receiver transfer Jay Fair. Fair announced he would be joining the Cardinal and Gold last week.

Jay Fair is having a standout season for Auburn. The sophomore wide receiver from Dallas is Auburn's leader in receiving yards and receptions with 284 and 28 respectively.
Auburn's passing game has not been one of the team's strong points so far this season. Between uncertainty at the quarterback position, learning curves in the play calling and inconsistency at wide receiver, the offense has struggled to establish an identity.
Auburn has hit the bye-week. The Tigers have five games under their belt and have surely learned a lot and made some adjustments as the season has gone along.
Jay Fair has been Auburn's best receiver through a five quarters this season. He just caught his first pass of the evening against California and took it in for a touchdown.
Payton Thorne has looked good in his debut with the Auburn Tigers. He tossed his first touchdown pass as a Tiger in the third quarter, a 29-yard strike to give the Tigers a 45-7 lead over the UMass Minutemen.
